ASLHC provides comprehensive speech and language evaluations and individual therapy for the greater Albuquerque area.
If you are concerned about your child’s speech and language development, or if a family member has suffered a stroke or has been diagnosed with an illness that has impacted his/her ability to communicate effectively, a detailed evaluation by one of our licensed speech pathologists is the first step.
A careful evaluation of a client’s speech and language skills is key to implementing an effective therapy program.
Our licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologists offer screenings, evaluations and treatment for a variety of skilled areas including:

While many children or adults may have the same speech or language delay, the underlying causes can be very different. By evaluating all aspects of a client’s functional communication, we can develop an individualized therapeutic program that gets results.
One key to success is your involvement. When an adult or child is in therapy we encourage the family to become a part of the process. Family members may participate in or observe the speech-language evaluation and therapy, thereby gaining valuable information that will enable them to help their loved one at home.
